Inspired by the air element, which moves freely and without constraint, this design promotes the creation of spaces without distinct barriers between indoor and outdoor environments. The concept is embodied in an artist’s residence, intentionally blurring the boundaries between inside and outside.

The design features a three-layered structure that transitions gradually from public to private spaces. The outermost layer serves as an open art space for community use, promoting interaction and creativity. A pivot door allows artwork to be displayed on the exterior walls, creating a dynamic connection between the interior and exterior.

As one moves inward, the second layer houses semi-open living spaces, including the living room, dining area, and kitchen, all enclosed by warm wooden walls. This layer maintains a connection to the external environment while offering a comfortable, sheltered atmosphere.

The uppermost layer is more private, featuring a bedroom with glass walls and a sliding partition that opens onto a small balcony for plants. This design fosters transparency and openness while providing personal space for solitude. Extending from the bedroom is a suspended walkway, offering additional space for relaxation.
