Lot 4 is curated from the raw element’s material, textures and feel to create a home.
Taking both of the element’s fire and earth the project extrudes the characteristics of both the elements into a home. Taking two extremes to merge and live in cohesion with one another.
The above ground structure built from glass cubes are a representation of fire. As the home is inhibited the light travels through the walls and the building becomes alight. In this space are two bedrooms and office. The underground space is enclosed in earth the walls lined with rocks connection with light with the above ground via skylights. This space houses the main living area bathroom and lower-level bedroom.
